What is the difference between a static and a dynamic QR code?
• Static QR codes embed your data directly into the pixel pattern. Once generated, the content is permanent and cannot be changed. They never expire and have no scan limits. • Dynamic QR codes embed a short placeholder link instead of your raw data. This allows you to update the destination URL anytime from your dashboard without changing the physical print or reprinting the code.
Do PetaQR codes ever expire?
• Static codes generated on PetaQR last forever and will never expire. • Dynamic codes remain active as long as your premium subscription is in good standing or within the limits of your free tier tier.
